Q : ช่วยเล่า background ตัวเองให้ฟังหน่อยมั้ยครับ และมีการเปลี่ยนสายอาชีพเพราะอะไร
A :ทำงานฝ่ายขายดูแลลูกค้าที่เป็นตัวแทนจำหน่านสินค้าของบริษัทข้ามชาติแห่งหนึ่ง

Q : แล้วทำไมถึงตัดสินใจเรียน ภาษาอังกฤษเพราะอะไร
A : เพราะอยากจะมีความก้าวหน้าในสายงานเพราะด้วยความที่ทำงานในบ.ฝรั่ง เราจะต้องเจอเพื่อนร่วมงาน เจ้านายที่เป็นชาวต่างชาติ ภาษาจึงเป็นสิ่งสำคัญในการทำงานเป็นอย่างมาก

Q : มองการไปเรียน ภาษาใหม่อีกครั้งทำไมทั้งๆที่ได้ภาษาแล้ว มันจะส่งเสริมการเงินได้จริงหรอ
A : ปัจจุบันภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาที่สำคัญมากๆ ทั้งการทำงาน หรือแม้แต่ชีวิตประจำวัน การได้ภาษาที่ 2 เพิ่ม ทำให้ตัวเราเองมีจุดแข็งเพิ่มในการเลือกงานอีกด้วย

Q : อยากให้เล่าถึงประสบการณ์ในการขอวีซ่า เตรียมตัวขนาดไหน เครียดมากมั้ยโดยเฉพาะเรื่องที่กังวล คิดมากตรงประเด็นไหนและทำไงสถานการณ์เปลี่ยนเยอะมากสถานทูตจะเชื่อว่าเราไปเรียนจริงๆ
A : เตรียมตัวเกือบ 2เดือนและเครียดมากเพราะทักษะการตอบการฟังแย่มากๆ แต่ก็ได้ทางทีมงานพี่ภูช่วยเหลือในทุกๆเรื่อง ทั้งเรื่องเอกสารและคำถามคำตอบ เและวันสัมภาษณ์เจอท่านกงสุลผู้หญิงผิวไม่ขาวไม่ดำ รูปร่างท้วมซึ่งไม่อยากเจอท่านนี้เลยเพราะหลายๆคนที่ได้สัมภาษณ์จะเจอถามเยอะมากๆ แต่ก็โดนจนได้ คำถามที่ท่านกงสุลถามก็จะมีประมาณนี้นะคะ

ท่านกงสุล : คุณทำงานที่ บริษัท xxxxx นี้ใช่มั้ย วันนี้คุณมาทำอะไร
เรา: ขอวีซ่าไปเรียนภาษาที่พอร์ทแลนด์ 6 เดือนค่ะ

ท่านกงสุล: ขอดู I-20 หน่อย และชี้ไปทางค่าใช้จ่าย และถามว่า ค่าเทอมอยู่ตรงไหนเท่าไรและขอดูจดหมายรับรองการเงิน
เรา: ค่าเทอมประมาณ 5,000 ต่อเทอม และมีเงินครอบคลุมค่าใช้จ่ายค่ะ

ท่านกงสุล:คุณทำงานมากี่ปีแล้วและทำไมต้องไปเรียนภาษา
เรา:ทำงานมาจะ 7 ปีแล้ว ที่ไปเรียนเพราะต้องการย้ายแผนกไปทำงานกับชาวต่างชาติ

ท่านกงสุล:คุณจะลาออกจากที่ทำงานใช่ไหม
เรา: ใช่เพราะถ้าเรียนภาษาบริษัทไม่สามารถให้ลาเพื่อเรียนภาษาได้

ท่านกงสุล: มีจดหมายรับรองการทำงานไหม
เรา:มีและยื่นให้
ท่านก็เปิดอ่านดูและบอกเราว่าจะขอตรวจสอบข้อมูลและติดต่อกลับไปอีกที
หลังจากเรากลับมาทางสถานฑูตก็โทรไปเช็คกับ Hr เกี่ยวกับสถานการทำงาน
และก็อนุมัติวีซ่าให้

Q : หากมีหน่วยงานที่ให้คำปรึกษาด้านการเรียนต่อและโดยเฉพาะแบบ Torch Education ที่มีการให้แนวทางการใช้ชีวิตในต่างประเทศ อยากให้มีบริการใดๆเพิ่มมั้ย หรืออยากจะพูดอะไรเกี่ยวกับ Torch Education บ้างมั้ย
A :ต้องขอขอบคุณพี่ภูและทีมงานมากๆค่ะที่ช่วยเตรียมคำถามและฝึกซ้อมให้เกิดความมั่นใจ พอเจอสถานการณ์จริงก็ตื้นเต้นประมาณนึง แต่ได้ซ้อมหลายๆครั้งก็เริ่มมีความมั่นใจและรู้ว่าเราบกพร่องในการตอบคำถามตรงไหนและเอาไปปรับแก้ก่อนจะเจอสถานการณ์จริง

1. Why are you here today?
A: I’m here to apply for F1 Visa because I want to pursue my study in the USA.

2. Why do you want to go to America?
A: Because the education system in America is famous and high quality is top of the world. I think if l learn English in an English environment. It helps me learn English faster than study in Thailand.

3. What’s the program you will study?
A: It’s the Intensive English Program at Portland State University. The program comprises of 4 skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. This program has a conversation partner every weekday by native people I think I can communicate all the time and USA environment can develop my English skills all the times.

4. Why do you need to improve English?
A: I’m working as an area sale executive for more than 6 years. However, my position cannot be getting to promote to senior-level because my English skill is not good enough to communicate with the international department and my senior director who as a native from around the world. So I really need to improve my English skills at PSU for 6 months. After that, I will return to Thailand to applying senior level as a regional sale manager.

5. Why ‘s Portland?
A: Portland is one of the cities that’s very safe and has nice weather, not too cold like on the east coast. there is no sale tax. And Public Transit system is also cheap and more convenience.

6. Why ‘s Portland State University?
A: PSU is ranked as one of the top university, there is a famous and not a lot of Thai student.

7. Who’ your sponsor?
A: My sponsor is myself and my mom. I have 1 million baht and my mom have 5 hundred thousand baht

8. What will you do after graduating from an English course?
A: I’m going to come back to Thailand and Apply in a new position is Regional Sale manager at XXXXXXXXX. because my company is good and get high salary

9. Do you have any relative in the US?
A: Yes, I have she is my aunt, not close relative with me she has a green card.

10. Where are you going to stay in the US?
A: I’m going to stay at a dormitory, on-campus.

11. Do you intend to visit them?
A: No, this time I need to study hard to complete my goal as soon as possible so that I can come back to Thailand to prepare my documents.

12. Do you intend to work in the US?
A: No, I want to stay with my family.

A: Because the education system in America is famous, high standard and high quality is top of the world. so it was a good opportunity for me to learn and exchange knowledge about American culture if I put myself in an all English speaking environment where helps me learn english faster. Learning in real life helps me remember new vocabulary and expression better. and I can speak like a native english speaker. if I have a degree from USA university can greatly improve my chances of getting a good position
